During the COVID-19 pandemic, when church moved online, I was one of the few lucky ones who still got to be in the church and feel the organ’s vibrations and sing the hymns as cantorial soloist. These are the live performances that were broadcast from Glen Ridge Congregational Church, in Glen Ridge, New Jersey. Since they are live, you might find a song where my voice croaks, where there’s an unexpected “Amen” tagged on the end, and where I mess up the words! But mostly, I think you’ll find words and music that helped get us through some tough times and I hope they will continue to do so.
Diane Schaming, mezzo-soprano
Tom Mustachio, organist and sometimes baritone
